About Darlene Curley

Darlene (Jackson) Curley is a 1973 graduate of Scarborough High School. She holds a B.S. degree from the Univ. of Maine (1977) and a Masters degree from the Univ. of Maryland at Baltimore. She is married with 3 children and attends the First Congregational Church.

Darlene is a small business owner, a registered nurse and a K-8 teacher. She is also a member of the Faculty at the University of Southern Maine as well as a member of the Chamber of Commerce.

Darlene is active in her community and is involved with the Scarborough School PTO, a member of the Scarborough Wellness Initiative and a volunteer driver for the Independent Transportation Network.

Government plays a large role in Darlene's life. She is currently a State Representative in the 121st Legislature where she is a member of the Health & Human Services Committee, the National Council of State Legislature's Health Committee and the State Long Term Care Committee.
